Grant Description

Previous Page Version

Grants to Kentucky nonprofit organizations and public school districts in eligible regions to benefit local residents. First-time applicants are required to contact staff prior to submitting an application. Funding is intended to support activities that address a wide variety of community needs, with priority given to the areas of social services and public education. Grantee organizations will serve the greater Louisville metro area in Kentucky, though in some cases, nonprofit organizations which operate outside Louisville but in Kentucky will be considered for funding.

Applications are considered for worthy causes of all kinds. Public education and social services will receive emphasis. Care is exercised to balance the needs of today with the anticipated needs of tomorrow.

Although many needs of the communities are ongoing, the Foundation designates approximately thirty percent (30%) of its annual gifts to new initiatives whose objectives are consistent with the long term goals of the Foundation.
