Grants of $75,000 per year to researchers affiliated with a USA nonprofit institution for research studies related to respiratory diseases. Funding is intended for projects that help detect, prevent, and treat lung disease. The goal of the grant program is to assist promising independent investigators who are leveraging their existing body of work to conduct basic science, behavioral, clinical, or translational research for lung health. Successful applicants are investigators with evidence of prior excellence and productivity in the early stages of their careers.
Estimated Size of Grant:
Up to two years. The second year of support is based on demonstrating satisfactory progress, as well as the availability of funding from both organizations.
