THE SOUTHEASTERN RED ANGUS ASSOCIATION, INC. WAS ORGANIZED TO PROVIDE ITS MEMBERS AND THEIR CUSTOMERS WITH INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO CONTINUE ADVANCING THE QUALITY, RELIABILITY AND VALUE OF THE RED ANGUS BREED OF BEEF CATTLE USED IN THE COMMERCIAL BEEF INDUSTRY. THE ORGANIZATION IS TO FOSTER AND DEVELOP THE BREEDING AND MARKETING OF RED ANGUS BEEF CATTLE THROUGH THE PARTICIPATION IN RESEARCH PROGRAMS, PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO ITS MEMBERS ON BREEDING, MARKETING, HERD MANAGEMENT, TO MAINTAIN PEDIGREE AND BREEDING PERFORMANCE INFORMATION, TO PROMOTE THE RED ANGUS BREED OF BEEF CATTLE TO BOTH PRODUCERS AND CONSUMERS, AND TO PROVIDE YOUTH PROGRAMS TO EDUCATE, FOSTER AND ASSIST YOUTH THROUGH INVOLVEMENT WITH RED ANGUS CATTLE IN THE JUNIOR RED ANGUS PROGRAM.
