Grants to Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky nonprofit organizations, state and municipal organizations, and public schools in eligible counties for programs benefiting local communities. Funding is intended to support programs primarily in the areas of education, community resilience, and inclusive mobility. Support may also be provided for arts and culture, health and human services, and civic and community.

Eligible counties include the following:

Indiana Counties: Daviess, Dubois, Gibson, Knox, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Warrick, Vanderburgh
Illinois Counties: Wabash, White
Kentucky Counties: Daviess, Henderson

Toyota seeks to expand access to opportunities that improve people’s lives and create a culture of inclusion -strengthening the communities where people live, work and play. Toyota supports programs in key areas:

- Education – Special consideration is given to STEM programs as we continue to develop our future workforce.
- Inclusive Mobility – Connecting people to opportunities by developing inclusive mobility solutions.
- Community Resilience – Building resilience by investing in needs required to thrive, specifically relating to environmental sustainability and driver/passenger safety.

- Health and Human Services
- Arts and Culture
- Civic and Community

Youth and diversity are key priorities. Toyota also prefers to support program-based requests, but on occasion will support fundraising activities where most of proceeds go directly to the organization.

Toyota considers funding requests that:
- Are geared towards benefiting a large number of people
- Offer participation in local educational programs
- Provide leadership and development programs for participants
- Target youth within any of the funding priority areas

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Toyota's national corporate giving program supports charitable non-profit organizations that are recognized by the Internal Revenue Service. They also support State or Municipal Organizations and Public Schools.

Toyota is unable to fund requests:

- From organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, ancestry, age, religion, disability, medical condition, sex or gender (including pregnancy), gender identity and/or expression (including a transgender identity), sexual orientation, marital status, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state or local law.
- Benefiting:
1. Individuals
2. Political organizations, parties or candidates
3. Fraternal organizations
4. Churches
5. Labor organizations
6. Non-charitable organizations
7. Athletic organizations or sports teams
8. Individual and/or private schools
9. Covering institutional expenses or deficits

Pre-Application Information:

Applications are accepted twice a year:
- Apply By: May 1st; Notification in July.
- Apply By: Nov 1st; Notification in February.

Organizations are limited to one grant within a twelve-month period.
