Louisville Audubon Society (LAS)
Grants to Louisville Area, Kentucky nonprofit organizations to promote environmental conservation and protect bird habitats. Applications are encouraged from groups that have an interest in environmental restoration, education, and conservation, as well as birding.
Grants should support the mission of the Louisville Audubon Society: To conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth’s biological diversity.

It is preferred that grant recipients are registered with the IRS as a 501(c)3 organization or be affiliated with one. If not, then the organization must demonstrate how it and/or the proposed project serves the general public.
Grants will not be given to fund endowments, administrative costs, staff salaries and/or benefits, and general operations.
The application deadline is April 1, 2018. Grants will be awarded in May 2018.
