Fellowship of $10,000 to a USA scholar for research projects related to the musical and artistic traditions of Louisiana. The purpose of the program is to encourage the scholarly use of local historical resources and the production of new scholarship related to the artistic heritage of Louisiana.
The Jazz & Heritage Fellowship is a two-year program to support research about Louisiana’s diverse music, cultural, and artistic heritage. Successful applicants have a history of productive scholarship via public presentations, publications, or exhibitions.
